Saxophones for sale in Malaysia
Saxophones do not come into our catalog often, because we will not list one unless both the consignor and the instrument pass muster. When we do have a saxophone on the site, expect a Selmer, Yamaha, or Yanagisawa at the intermediate level or above, with the pads, action, and intonation all checked. Bring your own mouthpiece for tryouts. The horn deserves it.

Saxophone-specific questions
Which saxophone should a beginner start with?
Alto is the standard starting point. The size suits most hands, the range sits comfortably for early players, and most method books are written for it. Tenor is also a fine starting point if that is the sound you want to chase. Soprano and baritone are normally added later, not started on.
How do I know if the pads are in good condition before I buy?
Look at the pads themselves under good light: surface should be smooth, even in colour, no obvious deformation around the tone hole rim. The condition rating on each listing covers pad seal, key action, and overall playability, and if any pads need replacing soon we say so directly.
Why is Selmer Paris held in such high regard?
Selmer Paris Mark VI saxophones from the 1950s and 60s set the modern reference for tone, response, and intonation, and the company has been refining that lineage ever since. The Series II and Series III are the modern continuation. They are not the only great saxophones being made, but they are the ones almost every other maker is benchmarked against.
