The Bach 42BO Stradivarius is the orchestral standard tenor trombone, and that is not sales talk: it is the best-selling Bach Stradivarius symphonic model, the horn you see across professional sections worldwide. The .547” large bore drives a big, clear sound, the 8.5” one-piece hand-hammered bell is what gives a Strad its signature projection, and the O in 42BO means the open-wrap F-attachment, with fewer bends in the tubing so the valve register blows almost as free as the open horn.
Condition is a strong 8 out of 10. No dings and no dents anywhere on the instrument, just slight lacquer wear from normal playing, photographed exactly as it is. The slide is smooth, the F-rotor engages cleanly, and the sound projects the way a Stradivarius should.
