The Cornford 103 is built by artisans who trained at Alexander, and you can hear that lineage in every note. It delivers an authentic German horn sound with the kind of depth and warmth that professional players demand. Cornford horns are not mass-produced. They are crafted in small numbers, and getting hold of one (especially in this region) is not something that happens every day.

Condition is 7.5 out of 10. There are minor cosmetic dents, but none of them affect the playing performance. This horn was specially ordered and previously owned by a distinguished professional musician here in Malaysia, so it has been played seriously and maintained properly. What you are getting is a horn with real musical mileage that still performs at a professional level.

Our comment

This horn plays really well! Valve compression is excellent, very smooth and responsive when playing. Built exactly like the famous Alexander 103 but with sound adjustments suited specifically to a professional Malaysian horn player's taste. Since the previous owner was a pro musician who regularly performed with it, quality and reliability are definitely guaranteed. If you're looking for a top-notch German horn without breaking the bank, this is the one!
